Northwood will consider investments in any industry—we are not constrained. Several investment vehicles affiliated with Northwood’s principals devote smaller amounts ($100,000 to $1,000,000) to early-stage venture capital or buyout opportunities. We ordinarily take a passive role in these situations in support of management teams or sponsors in whom we have great confidence.
